Our goal was to mobilize civil society to provoke an honest universal debate around new solutions to make the education system more inclusive and better adapted to socioeconomic realities. Our objective was also to prepare young people better to meet the challenges of their time. We made a special call for better green jobs and youth entrepreneurship promotion. We also made a special for children refugees and were honored to count on the presence of the international photographer, National Geography laureate, Reza.
This first edition happened thanks to the commitment of very influential world leaders who agreed to join our platform.
They contributed with their expertise, and it was inspiring to listen and feel their determination to come to a better world together.
Noeleen Heyzer, Special Advisor to the United Nations Secretary-General, was the first woman to head UNIFEM. She is a powerful example of resilience and courage. She flew from Singapore to attend our event and share her time and expertise. Listening to her helped us understand to what extent we needed to make more efforts to promote girls' education.
We are grateful to everyone who invested their time and energy in making this happen.
